For those couples looking for the bare bones legal basics only, this is a great alternative to City Hall (and cheaper!). Come to my office or I will come to yours. We will perform the bare minimum to make your marriage legal in Ontario. Please remember to bring your license + 2 witnesses. I can provide witnesses for an additional fee of $50 (best arranged during regular office hours). Typical service is 10 minutes and with a standard ceremony that I provide. For Your Location service - travel fees may apply.
Express Marriage Licence Submission - $80
For clients who would like added security and faster delivery of their completed marriage licence, we offer an Express Submission Service for an additional $80.
Your service includes a cover letter and submission of your completed marriage licence by registered Express Post, providing expedited delivery and tracking.
While prompt, trackable submission can help reduce mailing delays, Ministry processing times are outside of our control and cannot be guaranteed.
Unless Express Submission is selected, completed marriage licences are submitted by regular mail and are subject to the Ministry’s standard processing timelines.
Following your ceremony, you will receive your Record of Solemnization of Marriage, confirming that your marriage ceremony took place while you await official registration and your marriage certificate.
